Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder (Lasun)

  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger (Adrak)

  • 2 teaspoons ground cloves (Lavang)

  • 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg (Jaiphal)

  • 2 teaspoons mace (Javitri)

  • 3 tablespoons ground cumin (Jeera)

  • 4 tablespoons ground coriander (Dhania)

  • 2 teaspoons ground fenugreek (Methi)

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (Tuj or Dalchini)

  • 2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper (Kalimirchi)

  • 2 teaspoons ground brown cardamom (Elaichi)

  • 2 teaspoons red food coloring

Directions

  1. Mix all the above ingredients (without roasting them first) and push through a fine sieve.

  2. Store in an airtight container and close the lid tightly after use.
